Excellent concept!! I really love what you thought of. A few things you could improve on stylistically are...
1. Shading.
2. Backgrounds.
Now I know both of them are the bane of artists everywhere, including myself. However, when you do shade don't over blend; that's a mistake everyone makes at some point on their digital art career. Especially for metal, use hard lines and have brilliant highlights on parts of it. Reference pictures can help with that. Also, don't be afraid of higher contrast! In metal, and even faces, it can make your picture pop
Backgrounds. Ugh. What a word. I know that's a hard thing to do. Trust me. I'm still working on it. But if you use a bg like did you here, be sure it is cohesive with the rest of your artistry. Right now it looks a little out of place. Making the motion lines more distinct and obvious would have made it seem a little more together.
